You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as a digital marketing apprentice. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities: 

  • Search engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Editing and creating content for website
  • Uploading artworks online 
  • Creating magazine content 
  • Using Photoshop to create room settings Wrapping artworks
  • Back office work on the website 
  • Administrational work
  • Customer Service including stock control and taking payments and orders via telephone and in the gallery 
  • Engaging and welcoming client’s and artist’s to the gallery 

Future Prospects

  • Opportunity for a full-time role after the apprenticeship is completed

Important Information:

  • QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education
  • To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years

Qualifications Required

  • 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C (8-4) in any subject, plus GCSE English and maths (or equivalents) at grade D/3 or above 

Training Provided

  • Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Approximately 12% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom
  • 8% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio
  • The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity
