Job Description

You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will learn to handle a wide range of tasks and activities. Due to the work involved all working hours will be based in our office.


Key responsibilities:

  • Adding/updating products ensuring they are correctly represented and writing product descriptions
  • Search engine optimisation, regularly updating website, blogs etc to make sure they’re optimised to attract our ideal clients
  • Analysing and reporting the performance of a variety of digital metrics (leads, sales, website traffic, ad cost and spend, ROI etc.)
  • Uploading blogs, PDF’s and resources to the website
  • Opportunity to write blogs


  • Building and broadcasting of email campaigns and monthly newsletter working alongside our marketing consultant

Social Media:

  • Supporting with keeping social media accounts active and up to date, engaging and growing relevant audiences, including commenting and responding on relevant content

Direct Mail:

  • Support with direct mail campaigns, including qualifying calls to prospects, data merging and printing and packing of campaigns

Database Management:

  • Regular and occasional database updates
  • Database structure updates and enhancements
  • Keeping the database accurate

Opportunities to create original content, such as:

  • Email Newsletters
  • Blog posts
  • Social Media content
  • Direct Mail campaigns

Learning and Development:

  • Proactively following the apprenticeship course and completing all the work
  • Learning around the SP Workwear systems and processes including the use of our CRM & Workflow tools
  • Proactively staying up to date with new techniques and software
  • Maintaining a personal development plan and learning log

Potential full time opportunity if successful on completion of the apprenticeship.

Important Information:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.

Skills Required

Qualifications Required

  • 5 GCSE’s, grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and maths

Training Provided

Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

Approximately 12% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 8% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
