Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will learn to use a variety of related tools in order to conduct research, develop strategies and deliver against our targets and have exposure to SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing Data Management, Content Marketing and Customer Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Apprentice should be a driven individual who is keen to get stuck into a result driven role across digital touchpoints. You will be responsible for executing strategies under the guidance of a Marketing Executive with an overall goal of improving organic digital brand awareness. All training will be provided internally along with opportunities to attend external training sessions. 

Your Digital Marketing Apprenticeship responsibilities: 

  • Manage Social Media Platforms
  • Make Regular posts on social media pages
  • Email Marketing Campaign development
  • Develop Marketing campaigns
  • Content writing and creating relevant articles
  • Building website backlinks with other relevant website within targeted industries
  • Help manage DPI’s Google Ad campaigns
  • Gain knowledge on Google analytics
  • Identify user search trends and running optimisation reports
  • Researching and conversing on new opportunities within the digital marketing sector
  • The day-to-day running of multiple campaigns

Qualifications you will receive (varies with the employer's projects):

  • Digital Marketer Level 3 (awarded by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education)
  • City and Guilds Level 3 Award in the Principles of Coding
  • CIW Internet Business Associate
  • City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Digital Marketing Business Principles

Future Prospects

After completing your Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity to progress onto a higher full time position within the company.

Skills Required

Qualifications Required

Grades A-C in GCSE Maths and English Language (can include equivalent e.g. Functional Skills Level 2 or A-Levels).

Training Provided

  • Digital Marketer level 3
  • Training will take place in our classroom locations, online and face to face with our mentors
  • Your employer's line manager will also support you and teach you skills
  • As a NowSkills Digital Marketing Apprentice, you will be assigned a supportive and well experienced Digital Marketing tutor who will provide tasks and targets to you to help you obtain the best possible grade
