What will the apprentice be doing?
Working as part of the Digital Infrastructure IT Support team to support and maintain desktop computers, hardware, software and portable devices, whilst providing support and assistant to staff and users throughout the site.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprenticeship scheme will take 2 years to complete and you will gain essential computer IT related experience and skills throughout the 2 year fixed apprenticeship. You will complete the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician standard which will develop and expand your technical competencies; knowledge, skills and behaviour and underpinning skills to work within an IT role.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
This could lead to a permanent position with great career prospects after the apprenticeship
