Job Description

You may be a school leaver or someone who wants to change career. Learning the co-ordination and work flow of all technical information on a live project throughout the development cycle from design, planning, delivery and through to completion. Work on industry-leading projects creating high-quality new homes and fantastic places.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

Will liaise closely with the land, commercial & construction departments to ensure a seamless transition from design through procurement & construction. 

  • Supporting with land appraisals & future developments
  • Coordination of internal/external consultants, producing technical details & drawings  for the delivery of schemes from design, planning & completion
  • Assisting in implementing objectives & procedures
  • Assist in value engineering elements, questioning drawings & making changes where relevant

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You'll spend three years studying towards your level 4 apprenticeship on the Design & Build Technician qualification at London SouthBank Universtiy on a day release basis.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You'll begin your journey as the Technical Co-ordinator Apprentice within the Berkeley Group progressing on to becoming a Technical Co-ordinator and if you want to continue your academic journey you would possibly move on to level 6 or MCIOB.
