To learn and train as a qualified dental nurse, to prepare and assist with all treatments ensuring equipment, materials and instruments are prepared and maintained as required, set out by the practice policies and good practice guidelines following all HTM procedures.

You will receive ongoing support, development and training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful dental nursing career. Your daily activities could include:
- Sterilising instruments
- Updating patient records
- Maintaining equipment
- Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
- Being responsible for infection control in the dental surgery

Reality CheckWe advise candidates to check the location of the setting before applying. With this apprenticeship you need to have a full course of Hepatitis B vaccines and a clear enhanced DBS. This will be arranged for you. We start at 8.00am and finish one late evening at 8.30pm also needs to be able to work 1 Saturday per month
