Job Description

Our apprenticeships allow you to study for an academic qualification while working and learning alongside respected, technical professionals. As an apprentice, you'll study at a local college on day release, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace

What will the apprentice be doing?

We're looking for several Civil Engineering and Buildings Civil/Structures Apprentice Technicians to join our Buildings and Infrastructure sectors. You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients. While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards a Level 6 (Degree) qualification in Civil Engineering with one of our local partner universities. You'll study on day release and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

When joining us as one of our apprentices, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to study for a paid, professionally-recognised qualification in a discipline that will help you further your career.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll have access to our online network. You’ll also take internal courses. These cover technical aspects of the business, such as software, but also vital ‘soft’ skills such as report writing and working effectively.
