Job Description

About the role: Stationers' Crown Woods are seeking to appoint a Data & Admin Assistant / Local Data Apprentice. This is a varied and busy role and duties will vary from day-to-day. The main priority of this role will be to support the Local Data Officer with Subject Access Requests (SARs), and Privacy Perfect entries.

Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Completing any Subject Access Requests (SARs) received by the academy
  • Entering new software requests onto Privacy Perfect
  • Undertaking specific areas of responsibility, as allocated by the Principal’s PA, including supporting staff
  • Assist the office team with various administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, shredding, filing and distribution of correspondence and marketing mailshots
  • Assist the Marketing & MRO Manager with various marketing duties including photocopying, filing and distribution of completed projects
  • Assist the Marketing & MRO Manager with the preparation of open events
  • Ensure that there is adequate stock of Trust and academy information in reception including newsletters and prospectuses
  • Carry out any other duties commensurate with the grade and general responsibilities of the post
  • Comply with Health and Safety Regulations

Qualifications Required

  • English and maths at grade C/4 or equivalent

Training Provided

  • Training to be delivered by LAT Apprenticeships and will follow the level 3 Business Admin programme
  • This is a blend of online and face to face training
  • Typical duration is 18 months as this is a term time only position 
  • Functional skills if needed
