Job Description

Allens e-bikes, e-motion experts, are looking for someone to join their team as a customer service/bike builder apprentice. If you are a hard worker with good communication skills and an interest in electric bicycles, e-scooters and skateboards, this is a great stepping-stone into your career.

Responsibilities

In your role as an Customer Service Assistant/Bike Builder, you will carry out the following tasks:

  • Offer high level customer service, always putting the customer first
  • Create a great first impression on customers coming into the shop by being friendly and approachable
  • Understand customer requirements
  • Provide helpful and informative advice to customers
  • Handle customer queries and complaints with confidence and know when to escalate to a manager
  • Use your training to bring products to life by using your knowledge and understanding of our e-motion cycles, scooters, skateboards and accessories
  • Contribute to day to day operations of the shop, ensuring bikes are in working condition, e.g. tyre check, clean etc.
  • Support with deliveries, ensuring products are replenished as required
  • Keep the shop floor and workshop clean and tidy by completing cleaning tasks during the day
  • Provide advice on service and repair options
  • Fit accessories as instructed
