Job Description

Trainee Administrator to work in various departments to learn all aspects of Administration within the business. Work under the direction and instruction of senior staff, to provide general clerical, administrative and reception duties to the organisation.


Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide routine clerical support, e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, and scanning
  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems and respond to queries
  • Undertake routine typing, word-processing on an ad hoc basis
  • Sort and distribute and record mail
  • Undertake routine administration
  • Operate office equipment e.g. photocopier, computer
  • Arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures
  • Be aware of, support and ensure equal opportunities for all
  • Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the organisation
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
