Job Description

The apprentice will be supported as they complete a Customer Service Level 2 Practitioner course with Milton Keynes College. The role is based in a dynamic call-center environment, where you will learn about the compliance and repair of Dawsongroup’s truck and trailer fleet and provide a breakdown response service.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

Communicating with customers’ representatives
Recording transactions & chasing outstanding repairs
Updating order numbers to complete maintenance records
Providing high levels of customer service to receive, dispatch, link & close breakdown calls
Checking equipment service & repair history and/or breakdown status to advise branches & customers of progression of work
Learning and participating in parts sourcing; learning about supply chain options to obtain the best costs

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner qualification, with training provided by Milton Keynes College. Ongoing training, support and development will be provided by Dawsongroup plc. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

There is an opportunity for the apprentice to be offered a permanent position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
