A fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us at Candlelight Products Ltd in Rotherham. Responsible for Sales Support to our customers and ensuring they get an efficient service, along with support to our National Account Managers or Agents.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Sales Support to our customers and ensuring they get an efficient service, along with support to our National Account Managers or Agents
  • Dealing with order processing and ensuring relevant information/pricing is input on to the customer orders and order confirmations are sent if required
  • Telephone enquiries must be dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Internal enquiries from fellow staff members are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • New product information is completed when required by customers
  • Orders are followed up to ensure they are delivered when required, also regular out ships meetings are arranged where applicable to monitor shipments of stock
  • Preparing customer information forms and organising ordering meetings with the relevant departments where applicable
  • Producing customer quotations from our systems and working to margins advised by the National Accounts Managers where applicable
  • Informing customers of delivery or stock issues if relevant
  • Stock information is obtained from stock control and advised to customers or account managers upon request
  • Critical path control sheets or customer specific tracking shipments, are completed and updated on a weekly basis and communicated to customers where relevant
  • Controlled sample sheets are completed and kept up to date on a regular basis
  • Samples of stock to be organised for meetings and sent out to customers then checked that they have been received
  • Correspondence is checked and relevant brochures, quotations, images, discs etc are sent out when required by customers/agents
  • Spreadsheets are produced accurately and detailed for our production team to work from when required
  • Correspondence and information on computers is kept within the national accounts drive on shared documents
  • Being fully aware of the companies Health and Safety and COSHH Policies and procedures and strictly working to their requirements
  • General Administration tasks as required by Account Managers
  • It may be necessary, from time to time, to perform other duties, which may not relate to any other points listed within this Job Specification

Other Information

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
