Job Description

Stainless UK Ltd is looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Apprentice. You will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.

Duties will include:

  • To provide administrative support to the Accounts manager
  • Working effectively with other staff members, liaising with colleagues and external customers and suppliers
  • Proactive in suggesting opportunities to improve company process effectiveness through IT and Technology.
  • Working to strict accounting deadlines

Main duties

  • Opening and distributing incoming mail
  • Dealing with incoming emails and calls
  • Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase order
  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Sending outgoing mail with correct postage
  • Managing the stationery and printing supplies within budget
  • To provide administrative support to business
  • Working effectively with other accounts staff, liaising with colleagues and external customers and suppliers
  • Proactive in suggesting opportunities to improve company process effectiveness through IT and Technology
  • Working to strict accounting deadlines
  • Supporting the Finance Manager as required
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Managing Director

Skills Required

  • Good IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel and Word or similar packages
  • Good communication skills, with a good telephone manner

  • Keen to develop a career in Finance and Administration
  • Interested in IT and learning new skills
  • Confident speaker
  • Well organised and has a structured approach to solve problems

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-5 (or equivalent) in maths and English.

Business studies and/or IT GCSE (or equivalent) would be an advantage.

Training Provided

The successful candidate will study a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.
