Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working on-site at a busy Perkins location, the role as a customer service apprentice will include
  • Working in a small team and assisting customers with orders
    Dealing with sales quotes and office support including some admin
  • Using a computer ordering system

The role will be learning about the products so you can advise the customer correctly. Also, must be able to communicate with customers and show an interest and give a helpful service. Demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

 

On-the-job training with built-in training plan and support with an apprenticeship in Customer Service with Smart Training with additional Functional Skills training and support if needed to achieve L2 FS.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Other opportunities within the business after apprenticeship for the right candidate. 

Reality Check

Dealing with customers face to face and on the phone. Must be able to explain clearly and give suitable options for products. All production knowledge will be taught and full support in the role will be given. Must have good organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines also be keen to learn the role.
