Job Description

This role will include assisting customers as they visit the store, taking orders and helping fulfil the order. For more details see the full job description. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service enquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Perform customer verifications
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • Organise workflow to meet customer timeframes
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Manage customers' accounts
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of enquiries, comments and complaints
  • Record details of actions taken
  • Prepare and distribute customer activity reports
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Help fulfil orders
  • There will be physical elements to this role

Qualifications Required

Ideally GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) in English and maths, however all shortlisted applicants will be invited to the training centre to participate in a recruitment event where English and maths will be assessed.
