Job Description

ITD Global are looking to recruit a friendly and proactive person to join our ambitious and hardworking team. This individual will be prepared to work effectively to provide quality support to our team.

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

  • Dealing with queries by phone and email
  • Using our customer support platform to log queries
  • Taking care of day to day issues with customers
  • Filing and processing claims
  • Passing collection issues to operations department
  • Escalating issues where necessary to relevant department
  • Keeping tabs on Key customers
  • Taking ownership of an issue until resolution
  • Reporting to head of CS if something needs escalating
  • Managing and maintaining small to
    medium size customer base
  • Liaising with the couriers and
    suppliers on behalf on your customers behalf
  • Booking, quoting and monitoring
    import, export and third country shipments

Future Prospects

Two previous Damar apprentices have been retained and Zack is now a manager having completed BA2 & BA3 with Damar

Reality Check

Working week: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 30 minute break for lunch
Weekly wage: £187.50 - £262.50 (dependent upon experience)

Skills Required

  • A desire to work and contribute in a team-based environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office, excel, word and web-based systems

Qualities Required

  • Self-motivated, possessing excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

Qualifications Required

The successful candidate must have achieved 5 x GCSEs at grades 4/C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English

Training Provided

Customer Service Practitioner which includes:
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT (if required)
