The Role:
We are looking for a hard-working individual who can adapt to a busy office environment who is willing to learn new skills and become an asset to the team.

Duties will include:

  • Filing – Alphabetical/date order
  • Checking – This is checking paperwork again the system looking for anomalies
  • Order entry – This would mean putting sales orders on the system for both roof trusses and floor joists ready to go into production
  • Creating production packs – Printing out of paperwork which is needed to manufacture the items
  • Gathering complete production packs ready to be given to the production manager
  • Answering phone calls and directing the call accordingly
  • Scanning – Scanning proof of deliveries in readiness for invoicing
  • Printing drawings off to go with delivery notes in time for delivery

Skills Required:

  • GCSE grades A*-C / 9-4 in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Basic IT knowledge is essential

The successful candidate will study a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:
40 Hours Per Week. 9am-5pm, 1 hour for lunch
£5 per hour
£200 per week

Progression Opportunities:
Potential to progress to a higher level apprenticeship, and a permanent position within the company.
