25.0 hours per week Monday - Saturday between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (rota basis), shifts to be confirmed. Due to the needs of the business, this vacancy is less than 30 hours per week. The overall duration of the apprenticeship is therefore extended accordingly.

Urgent vacancy. Customer Service Apprentice required for Specs Direct in Washwood Heath (B8). Excellent opportunity to earn, learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Customer Service Level 2 for 15 months.


Duties include: 

  • Reception duties
  • Taking bookings
  • Dairy management
  • Meeting & Greeting customers
  • Dealing with queries
  • Taking messages
  • Maintaining records
  • Promoting our products to customers.

Future Prospects

Developing role by doing pre eye tests with customers. Also possible opportunity to progress onto an Advanced Apprenticeship/employment.

Qualifications Required

  • Age 16-18: maths and English at GCSE or Functional Skills or equivalents (grades will be discussed at interview)
  • Age 19+: must have maths and English GCSE grade 9 to 2 (A to E) or Functional Skills Level 1-2 or equivalents
