Working in the parts and stores department you will help customers in the shop, over the phone and other means of ordering items. It would be highly beneficial if you have an interest in cars.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in all aspects of customer service such as:

  • Parts deliveries and stock management
  • General administration
  • Invoicing for items purchased
  • Dealing with insurance companies
  • Offering customer advice
  • Gaining knowledge on spares and vehicles
  • Any other duties that befit your role within the business

Future Prospects

  • There is potential for permanent work on successful completion of your apprenticeship

Reality Check

  • It would be highly advantageous if you have an interest in motor vehicles

Qualifications Required

  • Maths is essential, you will ideally have GCSE C/4 or above in maths & English
