Job Description

We are offering an opportunity to study for an apprenticeship in a fast developing, digitally focused, ambitious, and commercial organisation. Our recently renovated office environment, agile working options and top class technology will be fundamental in supporting you to be at your most creative, and productive.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • We are looking for individuals who can work under pressure, answering a high volume of enquiries, who are consistently positive whilst encouraging customers to self-serve on the Council's new website
  • You will be working in our contact centre providing support to our residents on the phone, on social media, on our website and by email in response to general enquiries
  • Delivering a high quality contact service to residents, other Council customers and internal clients across the range of channels available
  • Providing a source of quality information, keeping current with updates and changes
  • Promoting channel shift and identifying barriers to digital access and delivery
  • Customer Contact Advisors work in the Customer Contact Centre, on the Help Desk and on Reception as the first point of contact for the majority of enquiries coming into the council
