Responsibilities

What you will do in your working day

Working with the team and able to work on your own

Answer customer enquiries, obtaining feedback and/or pass them on to the appropriate person

Making contact a variety of people by telephone, e mail or post, text messaging

Using a computer to load information on to our systems

Arrange face to face meetings sending calendar invites

Arrange meetings with people outside of the council

Work with different teams and manage special requests

The training you will be getting

Support to achieve knowledge, skills and behaviours as laid out in the apprenticeship standard

Experienced assessor to assess work and practice

Individual learning programme tailored to own needs

E-learning, training and monthly tutorials specific to your apprenticeship

Mentor and support in the workplace

A minimum of 20% paid time to be used for learning and development opportunities

English and maths Functional Skills at Level 2 (if required)

Support to achieve End Point Assessment

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

At Central Bedfordshire Council we hope to retain our apprentices. Towards the end of your programme you’ll be supported to apply for vacant positions. Should you wish to move onto new or higher qualifications, we’ll also help you to do so.
