What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Planning delivery timetables
  • Ensuring stores have enough stock
  • Making sure suppliers have enough stock to meet demand
  • Overseeing the ordering and packaging process
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Tracking products through depots to make sure they arrive at their destination
  • Overseeing arrival of shipments

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will be working towards a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 qualification.

On completion and achievement of the Standard, progression routes will be provided and discussed with the individual
to enable them to make informed choices about continuous professional development. This Standard provides an ideal
