Job Description

Do you have a creative mind and enjoy writing and creating Marketing Content? Do you have a passion for writing articles, journals, blogs, and online content for marketing purposes? HIYOS is delighted to be recruiting for a Creative Content Marketer Apprentice to support their passionate, caring and innovative team.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create content that is interesting and beneficial to HIYOS's audience
  • Plan, create, edit, and deliver content across all of our channels
  • Create inspiring and engaging content, ensuring it is written to a high standard and incorporates input from key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ensure all content produced is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimised for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print
  • Ensure best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style are followed
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Prepare finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment
  • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
  • Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading it to a computer
  • Following a script, screenplay, or outline
  • Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
  • Inputting graphics to enhance footage
  • Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
  • Improving and correcting lighting, colouring, and faulty footage
  • Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision

Reality Check

This is a home working role, so the ideal candidate would be expected to be self-sufficient, and able to strive to deliver their best each day. Occasional trips into the London office.

Skills Required

  • Evidence of creating blogs, videos, social media posts across different social channels would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar photo editing tools is not essential but beneficial
  • Deadline-oriented, with excellent time-management skills
  • Communication skills

Qualities Required

  • Flexible with attention to detail
  • A creative flair

Qualifications Required

  • Desirable but not essential - GCSE's graded C/4 or above including maths and English
