Responsibilities

The role:

An Apprentice Contract Sales Person would be expected to learn all aspects of working within a busy sales office by assisting the Key Account Managers. You will be required to develop your knowledge of the products sold as well as learning about building relationships with customers and suppliers.

Duties:

The successful candidate will assist the more experienced sales people within the team, duties will include dealing with enquiries and orders via telephone and email as well as estimating tenders, answering calls, speaking to suppliers and resolving any queries.

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including maths and English grades 9-3(A-D) is desirable, however not essential

Training Provided

Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard Level 2

This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.
