What will the apprentice be doing?

Bakkavor is a highly innovative business, that is continually looking to unearth improved manufacturing solutions. If you possess an inquisitive mindset and enjoy making change through people, this could be the role for you.
This exciting opportunity will expose you to all areas of the business where you will learn a multitude of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques including Root Cause Analysis, various methods in data analysis and an understanding of Lean methodologies. In this role you will obtain an understanding of the “current state” processes and learn how to eliminate manufacturing wastes.This experience will be a combination of factory and office based roles. This opportunity requires an individual with a positive mindset and “can do” attitude. During the programme a full time mentor will be available to develop you into a Continuous Improvement Professional.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be provided with full support and training in order to kick start your career into becoming a future leader of CI in Bakkavor.

Improvement Practitioner Level 4 Qualification

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Best of all, upon successfully completing this two year apprenticeship you will be guaranteed a full-time role with Bakkavor.

GCSE or equivalent in English and maths + three others (Grade 9 – 4 or A*- C) Desired
