Joining our Building team, you will have an impact on the direction of our construction projects by becoming one of the key points of contact for staff and subcontractors on site. You will be contributing towards meeting the client’s specifications and ensuring our projects are completed on time and within budget.


What will the apprentice be doing?

Monitor and support the supervision of trade-contractors, labour, plant and material requirements

Assist in receiving and inspecting material deliveries when they arrive

Work to the latest programme of works, sign up to the relevant method statements and understand the requirements

Log and resolve any defects found and challenge current methodology by putting forward innovative ideas

Be aware of the impact of design changes

Ensure all site related documentation is kept up to date



What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?


Through day or block release, Skanska will provide support and funding to help you achieve a Level 4 qualification in Construction Management
