Looking for an enthusiastic team player who is keen to make a difference to work as an Apprentice Commis Chef for a new Tapas Restaurant opening in Ashbourne.

Responsibilities

Commis Chef Apprentice required for new Tapas Restaurant opening in Ashbourne.

The apprentice will be involved in:

  • Preparation of ingredients
  • Cooking dishes as required
  • Helping create menu items and specials
  •  General cleaning duties
  • Learning how to cook starters, mains and deserts

Future Prospects

There is potential for permanent employment on completion of your apprenticeship.

Training Provided

Level 2 Commis Chef apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 1/2 functional skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)

If you have not already achieved GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths & English, you may be able to study towards equivalent qualifications, as part of your apprenticeship, dependant on personal circumstances.
