Commercial Property is at the heart of solving some of our City’s biggest challenges – housing pressures, our financial challenge and the need to keep London moving, working and growing.
We have the ambitious target of generating over £2billion in non-fares income between 2017/18 and 2021/22 to reinvest in London’s transport network. We will achieve this using our transport assets and land – we are one of London’s largest land owners with an estate of over 5,700 acres.
Working with the Mayor of London, we will use our assets to create homes, jobs and growth across the Capital.

During the course of your scheme, you will also be given a set of properties to manage and projects to run.
Example of year 1, 2 and 3 rotations are;
Operational Property – 12 months– In this team, you’ll gain hands on experience of valuations and rates.

Property Development – 6 months - This is key area of Commercial Development’s growth, where you’ll be involved in delivering new homes for Londoners.
Other – 6 months - You’ll rotate through strategy and customer and performance teams, providing an insight into the strategic approach we take, working on performance reporting and how we manage our customer base. This will give you some key experience on scorecards, finance and strategy.
