Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join the team as an Apprentice and to become a fully qualified HGV Vehicle Technician at the end of the three year apprenticeship.


  • Assist the Vehicle Technicians with the servicing and repair of the vehicles
  • Repair vehicles and make routine maintenance checks and services as scheduled by the instruction of the Workshop Manager
  • Develop technical knowledge of a wide range of vehicles and a high level of attention to detail
  • Learn to perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc.
  • Assist at breakdowns as required
  • Advise customers, maintaining a patient and friendly attitude
  • Carry out other tasks as instructed by management
