Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
As Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice you will support the delivery of civil engineering projects and assist with providing specialist engineering services which enhance and maintain the road network and meet company business plan objectives.
You’ll gain first-rate training and mentoring along with workplace experience and the formal qualifications to back it up! Throughout the training period you will gain your Level 6 Civil Engineering Degree Apprenticeship through one of our carefully selected partner Universities. What’s more, all our apprentices are recruited on to a permanent contract from day one, so once you’re finished training, you’ll transition to a role within our Design and Consultancy Team.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will gain a BEng in Civil Engineering, on day release (one day a week) at the University of Derby
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will offboard the apprenticship as an Assistant Project Engineer within one of the teams in our Design & Consultancy department
