The Aspire training team are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare qualification during a 12-month apprenticeship with Jodie Morley Childminders based in Poole.

Jodie Morley Childminders are a small and friendly childminding business, based in Poole where outstanding care is provided to children aged between 3 months and 5 years, with the possibility of going up to 8 years during the school holidays. The setting is in a privately-owned family home which provides a welcoming and friendly “home from home” environment, where the children’s individual needs are supported to ensure their continued development through their early years. The quality of care is second to none and aims to provide the highest quality childcare that both the children and parents will love and enjoy.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their first steps towards a career in childcare, small and personal childcare setting while learning from three qualified, experience and passionate childcare professionals. Your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the apprenticeship
  • Ensuring the setting is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Assisting with checks around the setting
  • Keeping up to date with all coursework
  • Helping to supervise the children

Due to the nature of the business you will be working 30 hours across three days, with the shifts most likely revolving around the core hours of 8am and 6pm on the setting’s busier days of Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. However, these days and shifts may change depending on the needs of the setting.
