Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious apprentice to work in our fast moving Logistics department.

The Role:
We are looking for an ambitious apprentice to work in our fast moving Logistics department.

Duties will include:

  • Working on our third party Logistics business
  • Data entry
  • Customer service - dealing with order, delivery & stock queries (all business to business)
  • Using different IT software including parcel carrier systems, plus our own internal systems and to play an important part in a small team in an expanding side to our business

The Person:

  • Good communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • I.T literate

Skills Required:

  • IT skills - Excel/Word - training on in house systems provided
  • Good attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to work within a team and multi task in a fast moving and busy environment

The successful candidate will study a Customer Service Level 2 Standard. This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.

Working Hours and Wage:
40 hours per week. 9am - 5.15pm (45 mins. Lunch)
£4.15 per hour
£166 per week

Progression Opportunities:
Possible progression on to higher level.

Candlelight are importers & wholesale homeware suppliers to retail and third party logistics.
