Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a market leading merchanting business with over 130 years heritage. If successful, you will be working with our Plumbing and Heating Sourcing team supporting our network of circa 500 branches across the UK by sourcing the best products possible to support our customer’s needs.

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities:

  • Gather data and content to support preparation of supplier review slides
  • Manage supplier review meeting schedule
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support deal assessment, sourcing KPI performance, supplier performance etc.
  • Support sourcing programmes; gathering information, tracking and reporting on progress
  • Updating terms and conditions
  • Dealing with invoice enquiries
  • Point of contact for suppliers to exchange information and data
  • Support materials/commodity price and currency tracking
  • Tracking of extended supplier base terms administration
  • Raise invoices including gathering information from suppliers and tracking/chasing payments
