Job Description

Looking to kickstart your career in business administration? Here at Serco, we are looking for an Business Support Apprentice to join us working within Serco Education’s School Higher Apprenticeship programmes. You’ll provide administrative and organisational support to the team as well as maintain very high standard as customer support.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

The role will see you supporting communications with existing and potential students and the delivery team, such as marketing initiatives, updates to students and evaluations.

  • you will be responsible for general office and administrative support, maintain records and preparing and attending meetings.
  • Other key duties include registering apprentices on online systems, checking all forms are correctly completed, details are correct and ensuring any missing information is obtained.
  • As well as, regularly checking and recording student usage of the Learning Centre and eAssessor, as you gain more experience, your role will become more challenging and varied with more autonomy to take on tasks.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You are working toward a L3 Business Admin apprenticeship 

you will be completing your coursework along with the role you are working  this is an 18 month course.
