Job Description

Are you interested in becoming a Business Analyst? Join our Business Analyst training programme at the London Borough of Brent. To support the delivery of the Digital Transformation Programme through implementation of a range of analysis and solution design activities, spanning a wide range of services


What will the apprentice be doing?

This role carries a broad range of responsibilities, including researching and analysing statistical data; customer journey mapping, designing and documenting work-streams and process flows; compiling trends, performance reports and analyses; developing business-focussed solutions and consolidating customer insight

This role will support an ambitious schedule of workshops, and take responsibility for the production of all workshop outputs to a high level of quality. This includes minutes, actions, ideas and suggestions. The role will analyse the information to produce business requirements, and to record risk, issues and actions, for use by the programme

To work with the digital transformation team and various services to convert workshop notes, sketches and process maps into user stories

At the end of this apprenticeship you should be able to, understand the needs of stakeholders and how these can be met through business change and digital solutions. Business Analysts are change professionals that help organisations deliver business and digital change successfully.

Reality Check

Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable. Please do not apply if you have a business analyst qualification, or prior experience working as business analyst. Our apprenticeship opportunities are only open to Brent residents or Brent school leavers.
