Job Description

We are seeking a talented person with an ambition to develop knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications, reporting and marketing. The Apprenticeship will provide a great opportunity to learn about the mortgage business and research techniques, as well as make a real difference to the success of the company.


You will assist our Research & Development Manager with a variety of projects designed to support The Mortgage Store service, efficiency and performance as well as its future growth.

Full training will be provided.

Your duties will include:

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, reporting, marketing tools/solutions
  • Assist the Research & Development Manager with projects and day to day tasks
  • Help to develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement
  • Pull & analyse data/company’s performance
  • Prepare user guides, processes for the company
  • Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
  • Prepare, edit, format documents using MS Office applications

Skills Required

  • Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Ambition to develop your knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications, reporting and marketing
  • Quick learner that is keen to develop themselves
  • Ability to ask questions, listen to the answers and genuinely take an interest in what company does
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications and Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong numeracy/literacy
  • Good attention to detail
  • Data analysis skills
  • Knowledge of HubSpot and Trustpilot would be an advantage
  • Knowledge or interest in creating marketing material would also be an advantage
