Job Description

A great role where you will be learning all aspects of our business which will include finance, customer services, HR, production, transport, planning and procurement/purchasing.


What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Main Responsibilities:

    Answering phone calls, taking messages, directing to
    relevant person
  • Meeting and greeting clients, suppliers, and employees
    from other offices
  • Booking, set up and managing meeting rooms to a
    consistent and high standard
  • Monitoring various email inboxes and ensuring all email
    are dealt with appropriately
  • Following up on clients’ business communications,
    ordering and billing
  • Data Entry - ensuring clients and suppliers information
    is entered into the company database accurately
  • Communicating with clients through phone calls and
    emails and building positive relationships with them
  • Making employee travel arrangements when required
  • Scanning and filing of documents
  • Updating systems and spreadsheets
  • Monthly Expenses Reconciliation for Line and Senior
  • Stationery stock control and ordering for the local
  • Secretarial Team Meeting arrangements; invites, agenda
    preparation, minutes and distribution
  • Any other ad hoc administration requests

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Level 2

  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
