Would you like a career in Business Administration? This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, keen apprentice to join our friendly and supportive team and train with us in our organisation.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will work within an office environment. As our office apprentice, you will be involved in a wide variety of administration and customer service tasks. You will deal with queries, both in person and by telephone, and provide information and advice about the service.

Tasks may involve:

  • Making and receiving telephone calls ensuring messages are forwarded on to relevant staff
  • Managing the office diary
  • Typing of letters and reports
  • Photocopying
  • Scanning
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Laminating
  • Updating notice boards and displays
  • Emailing information and messages to staff
  • Complete stock ordering and check deliveries
  • Postal duties
  • IT duties using Microsoft package including Outlook, Excel and WordliliAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks set
  • Able to work independently and using own initiative
  • Able to communicate effectively in spoken or written formliliWell organisedliliAble to use ICT word processing, emails, internet, social media
