Job Description

Joining a dedicated team who are responsible for processing sales orders and managing invoices for our customers. You will work within a team of apprentices alongside other teams at Computacenter's. The apprenticeship training is provided by Babington. Apply if you want to be part of a team and build a career whilst learning.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

 Over 18 months, you will rotate across a variety of  departments learning new skills in problem management, invoice management, date management and customer service. Don’t worry if these terms are new to you, our programme and associated training will give you all the knowledge you need to become a future successful Sales Order Management (SOM) or Purchase Order Management (POM) associate.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Business Administration Level 3 Standard apprenticeship with Babington. This will be delivered via online and face to face workshops whilst working on the job with the support of tutors

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Whilst this is an 18-month contract and we cannot guarantee a permanent job at the end of that contract, if you work hard and push yourself in work and in the classroom then there is every chance of securing a fantastic role at the end of the apprenticeship.

Reality Check

You will need to do additional training if you do not have English and Maths GCSE prior to joining the programme. We would like individuals who are confident using computer software, like MS Office and email want to work in a team, have communication skills both in person and in writing. Be well organised and keen to learn and develop.
