Responsibilities
What will the apprentice be doing?
Being an important part of our reception team;
Present a welcoming first contact for our office;
Providing integral support to our busy reception team, and office manager;
Direction of enquiries and managing issues for our office users
Promptly responding to all incoming calls; answering queries, redirecting calls, and messages;
Assist with visitor reception and meeting rooms including setting up and tidying away;
Keep our coffee points and kitchen area fully stocked and tidy, stack and empty dishwashers;
Liaise with our day-time cleaner to maintain excellent standards for our environment;
Support the team with administrative duties as needed, as well as ad-hoc requests from colleagues;
Managing your own workload to meet your project and study deadlines;
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will study Business Administration Level 3. The course includes Level 2 English, Maths and ICT if the candidate has not achieved these subjects at GCSE.
The apprentice will attend the training on day release from their workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
For the right candidate, there is the option to continue studying, learn more about the business and shape your own role based on your interest.
