Job Description

Women’s & Children’s Services Division focuses on providing the best possible care for women and children attending Addenbrooke's and the Rosie Hospitals, working closely with the clinicians to continuously improve patient experience and outcomes. There is an opportunity for an apprentice to join the team.

Responsibilities

Duties will include;

  • Communicating with internal and external colleagues and patients via email, telephone and face to face and completing general administration tasks.

You will be based in the Rosie Hospital management offices with a small, friendly but busy team that plays a part in the organisation and operational function for the Division.

Reality Check

The following hazards are associated with this job role: Continuous use of display screen equipment (DSE) on most days The hours will be normal office hours so 08.00 – 16.00 / 08.30 – 16.30 / 09.00 – 17.00; times will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Skills Required

Essential:

  • You will need excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Be able to multi task and manage your time efficiently.

Desirable:

  • ICT qualification such as Clait, EDCL etc

Qualities Required

You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward thinking person to integrate and become part of the wider team providing much needed admin support to our personnel department. 

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to demands of the job. 

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum GCSE, or equivalents, grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English
