What you will do in your working day
You will normally work Monday-Friday 9-5 in the Metro Mayor's office on 13th Floor of a modern building overlooking Liverpool city centre.
You will provide an administrative support to the mayor and his team, managing diary appointments, communications, filing and data input, completing documents and arranging meetings.
You will accompany the Mayor to meetings and take notes as needed, please note that you will be expected to drive the Mayor to and from some appointments.
The training you will be getting
Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship
Corporate induction, including Health and Safety, diversity, GDPR, and corporate policies
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
At the end of this apprenticeship you will have unique experience of working in a high profile team at the commercial and political heart of the City Region.
You will have a level 3 qualification and experience of a high energy environment which will be invaluable if seeking a career in media, PR, local government, administration and similar areas.
Reality CheckThis is a high profile role and candidates will be expected to maintain high standards of confidentiality, reliability and professionalism. The post will involve driving so you must also have a full driving license.
