Job Description

As an apprentice you will primarily be based in a live working environment with placements around the business. You will also develop your basic knowledge working with our Skills Academy team. Your role will involve transactional administration tasks to support all areas of AWE.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

As an apprentice you will primarily be based in a live working environment with placements around the business. You will also develop your basic knowledge working with our Skills Academy team. In addition to the practical aspects of your training, we will support you to increase your knowledge of business administration through coaching and hands-on activities to help you to achieve your Business Administration apprenticeship.

As a Business Administrator your role will involve:

  • Raising purchase requisitions
  • Diary and inbox management
  • Secretarial duties
  • Booking of meeting rooms and allocation of keys
  • Control of classified documents 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualification: Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

The first 2 years of training will take place on-site at our skills academy whilst attending a local college on day release.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

At AWE we offer a guaranteed role for when you've finished your apprenticeship. Our apprentices have gone onto support our business in a variety of roles.
