Responsibilities

The above post has become available within KMPT for a dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking Business Administration Apprentice. The post will be within the Health and Safety Team based at Canada House, Gillingham

The job holder will provide an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to the Health and Safety Team and Lead Moving and Handling Advisor in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

They will communicate with staff, managers and clients, both written and verbally in a professional, sensitive and courteous manner, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

They will attend regular meetings with the supervisor and assessor and attend training sessions leading to an Apprenticeship Certificate in Business Administration level 2.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and keyboard skills, possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, pay attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing/challenging situations.

Prior to interview you will be required to undertake a numeracy and literacy test as well as a written Trust Values Exercise

This post is subject to a six month probationary period for candidates external to the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
