Job Description

The Apprentice will support the Administration Manager in the provision of key administrative functions of the MK Community Foundation ensuring our core values are considered at all stages of our growth.

Responsibilities

What will the apprentice be doing?

The Business Administration Assistant will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Supporting the Administration Manager in the diary management of the Chief Executive and Strategic Leadership Team
  • Supporting the Administration Manager in the organisation and co-ordination of meetings and events
  • Providing help and assistant in the preparation of meeting documentation
  • Supporting the Administration Manager and Governance Assistant on the management of the Business Administration, Trustee and Honorary Structure Communication Share Point sites
  • Supporting the team by opening and distributing post
  • Supporting the Administration Manager on Health & Safety compliance within office environment
  • Managing IT requests and maintaining records
  • Supporting Administration Manager on HR administration e.g., holiday, sickness, recruitment, onboarding
  • Management of own and shared mailbox
  • Assist in the collation of HR KPI as requested
  • Acting as first point of contact by answering office phones, taking messages, helping, or transferring to right area
  • Undertaking any other general office duties as required by line manager and the leadership team

Please note: 

Salary range will be between £14000 and £16000

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

This is a new role for us, and we are hoping that at the end of the apprenticeship, this will become a permanent post. The resources team, which includes all back-office functions including finance is relatively small, with only three people in this, but as the organisation grows, it is intended that the team will grow with it.
