Job Description

Our Business Administration Apprenticeship is your opportunity to gain the confidence and experience you need to get a real head start. Working as part of the UK Cyber Security Service Management team, this 12-18 month programme will develop you into a capable team member, with real skills and responsibilities to drive the rest of your career.


What will the apprentice be doing?

You’ll develop some of the most essential business skills around. From a technical perspective, your modules will cover the general principles of business, reporting and analysing data, and managing budgets, resources and change. But you’ll also receive plenty of support to improve your soft skills, which are just as important, whilst also gaining an understanding in the importance of Cyber Security and providing services.

This will include planning your time, presenting at meetings, directly serving our customers and building relationships with people across the business.

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship

Please note - This position requires a Security Clearance at SC level. To meet that requirement you either must have spent the last 5 years in the UK, without having spent more than 6 consequent months abroad, or hold a British passport. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Throughout the course you’ll learn and use skills that will support you in a wide range of business and administration tasks. As you progress, you’ll take on more responsibility. By the time you’ve completed your apprenticeship you’ll be a trusted professional, ready to contribute to live projects and progress your career. If you are well organised, like analysing information, can work in a team as well as being self-motivated and you have great communications skills, this programme is for you.
