Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen to provide administrative support across a range of activities within the Asset Finance Division, ensuring the department operates as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

Responsibilities

The role of Proposal Specialist is really important to us. The main responsibility for this role is the daily inputting of all new proposals and proposal amendments requests in a timely and efficient manner, whilst ensuring the smooth delivery of service to our Introducers.

Duties will involve:

  • To input and search all Introducer proposals in a timely and efficient manner meeting the department KPI for input times
  • Ensuring all key searches are carried out and prioritized in the underwriting queue meeting department KPI for input times
  • Share cross training feedback to build knowledge and enhance the service proposition
  • Provide support to our Introducers, Credit team, Sales, Sales Support and New Business Originations to ensure that the proposals procedure is being carried out efficiently whilst maintaining quality
  • Prioritise further information received in connection with an original proposal and escalate to original underwriter for a decision on a timely basis

You will report into the Proposals Team Leader, who will be your line manager and responsible for things like performance review meetings, 1-1s and development conversations.

This role provides a great opportunity to understand the asset finance sector, covering a wide range of cross-functional activities.

It therefore provides a great platform to move into more senior roles within the team or to identify broader areas within the group to focus on following the Apprenticeship.

Reality Check

Annual Salary - £17,500.

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
