Job Description

Are you looking to begin your career in Business Administration? Berkshire Living, in line with their growth and expansion, are recruiting a Business Admin Apprentice to join their team.


Berkshire Living is a dynamic property management business delivering a mix of residential housing stock within the Berkshire and Greater London Areas

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to use their own initiative and drive the business forward with vital tasks and management of systems and processes.

Executive Assistant Tasks:

  • To provide day to day diary management for the directors
  • To manage the email inbox and the filter of messages and setting up sub folders (Gmail)
  • Receive general enquiries to action/distribute as required
  • Field calls for directors and filter through high-value enquiries based on your judgement
  • Support Directors to run the businesses by liaising with team members, delegate tasks and provide an additional point of contact for support and accountability
  • Organising and attending meetings and ensuring Directors are well prepared for those meetings
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate
  • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing and CRM system for sales team
  • Preparation for management meetings – not just the logistics but liaising with departments to ensure agendas, reports, minutes, financial reports etc are ready and circulated in advance of the meeting

Future Prospects

  • The opportunity for a full-time role upon completion of the apprenticeship 

Skills Required

  • Excellent IT skills especially in the use of Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues at all levels and good attention to detail
  • High level of attention to detail

  • Organisational and problem-solving skills with a 'can do' mindset
  • Personable and engaging

Qualifications Required

  • A*-C (9-4) in GCSE maths and English or equivalent (functional skills can be completed as part of the apprenticeship)

Training Provided

  • The successful candidate will complete and obtain a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard qualification
