Job Description

We are looking for a Business Admin Apprentice to provide office-based support, predominantly within the Learning & Development team. You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

Responsibilities

To provide administrative support to the office, particularly within the Learning & Development team.

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of office administration activities whilst being reactive to the needs of the business
  • Warmly greet visitors to the office; answer phone calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages where appropriate
  • Manage correspondence by responding to emails and handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintain effective systems ensuring that all filing and databases are kept up to date
  • Support the recruitment and pre-employment checks processes where appropriate, by processing and collating pre-employment documentation
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience and a memorable first day for care givers
  • Coordinate care giver retention activities such as newsletters, care giver of the month etc.
  • Support the management of the Learning Management System, ensuring training records and teams training compliance is up-to date and at all time
  • Schedule training sessions for care givers and support the Trainer in the preparation of training sessions
  • Control the office supplies and make sure it is in accordance with office needs
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business

Salary: £12,000.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including maths and English.

Training Provided

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
