Job Description

Brand new opportunity to join this successful and motivated team as they grow their Legacy Planning Services Business. We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic administrator with an interest in accountancy, to support he Finance Department and the Director and his team.

Responsibilities

Main duties will include:

  • Bookkeeping duties
  • Processing payments on the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Answer the phone and manage the call at need
  • Monitor emails
  • Manage calendar
  • Handle inbound payment requests from Franchisees and clients
  • Deal with card payments by phone
  • Arrange Direct Debits via Taking Payments, World Pay, Barclays or GoCardless
  • Set up, manage and track recurring payments
  • Sending out welcome packs and Appointment Confirmation Letters
  • Learn the Maplebrook EDGE software platform
  • Able and willing to assist in non-core activities during peak periods
  • Work flexible hours in accordance with colleagues
  • Client files follow up and document management
  • Manage client’s workflow.
  • Handle follow-up and iterative document changes
  • Monitor the admin emails
  • Manage the calendar arranging 2nd appointments and any change
  • Manage document handling within the office
  • Receiving Wills for storage and verifying they are correctly attested
  • Preparing documents for storage
  • Scanning documents
  • Prepare materials for the Will Writer Training week
  • Ensuring MBW Franchisees and Licensees have enough materials to sell MBFP’s
  • Manage Office stationery and supplies
  • Send out the welcome packs to new clients
  • Store client application forms
  • Scanning
  • Managing the admin emails for funeral plans
  • Follow up client files when necessary

Reality Check

Annual Salary - £14,000.

20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

You will be working from the employers Home Office.

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA)
